Health and Racial Equity in Maternal Care
Health & Racial Equity in Maternal Care is a series of progressive training modules focused on investing in and advancing the skills, knowledge and attitudes of health care, public health and social work professionals to improve maternal health outcomes.
Developed and led by Black women, the course goals are to:
- Create a journey of self-exploration;
- Provide a solid foundation for understanding the impact of the history of structural and systemic racism on maternal health; and
- Provide practical, evidence-based strategies derived from successful community-based efforts
